The New Atlantis: Abode of the strong
Strong people have always come to the Americas. Who knows, maybe Atlantis was even here.
We know the Cahuiltecans, the Aztec, the Maya and the Olmec did it big here, the Clovis came down through Siberia and there were probably aboriginal folk across South America for multiple thousands of years during the Ice Age. Humans in California, over one hundred thousand years ago.
Historical migration since the Age of Exploration brought even more strong people to this continent. Europeans, Africans, Asians who left their cradles of civilization -voluntarily and forced — for a New World of unknown dangers and treasure.
Only the strongest survived here. Building a new civilization took desire, drive and dreams. A willingness to go beyond the known bends in the river and venture further out, into the unknown, willing to risk it all to create something new and leave the old behind.
These strong people mixed and melded genetic lines from all across Europe and the Americas and Africa and Asia in every manner of reproductive engagement, just like Homo Sapiens, Neanderthal, Denisovan, Homo Floresiensis and multiple unknown human progenitor species did tens and hundreds of thousands of years before them. A history of migration and miscegenation spanning the full timeline of human existence, of which we, in all of our beautiful, diverse, harmonic cacophony, are the result.
